Academic Advising at WMU

An academic advisor will provide a general overview of how advising works at Western Michigan University and also include information regarding GoWMU, and the pre-audit/graduation application.

Bronco Express (Financial Aid/Billing)

A representative from Bronco Express will explain the financial aid process, discuss financing options, talk about the billing and payment process, and answer your questions.

Career and Student Employment Services

Learn about full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities on and off campus. This session will explain WMU's web-based employment service–BroncoJOBS–and the resources for career planning that are available throughout the academic year.

Center for Academic Success Programs

CASP is committed to providing services to help increase students' college skills and success levels. This session will cover topics such as writing, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and the impact families can have in their student's WMU experience.

Information Technology

Receive an overview of WMU's Information Technology resources, including phone services, computing access and laptop initiatives.

Residence Life and WMU Dining Services

This session will provide you with information regarding both on and off-campus housing options, and WMU Dining Services information for students living on and off campus.

Sindecuse Health Center and Counseling Services

Representatives from the SHC and the UCTC will talk about student insurance, immunizations, health education, mental health, prevention programs and more.

Student Activities and Leadership Programs

The Office of Student Activities & Leadership Programs (SALP) offers a variety of ways to become involved at WMU. This session will highlight some of the more than 300 student organizations and various programs and events sponsored by SALP throughout the year.
