Craig Morris currently serves as the vice president of the Graduate Student Association at Western Michigan University. Craig received his bachelor’s degree in school guidance and counseling from the Mico University College in Kingston Jamaica. Prior to his transition to WMU, Morris worked as a school counselor in Jamaica where he sought to aid in the holistic development of his students, colleagues and community through education.
Morris is currently working on his master’s degree in educational leadership with a concentration in higher education and students affairs. His areas of interest include the globalization of education, college student development, leadership and assessment and hope to earn a doctoral degree in the field. He is also passionate about effective pedagogical methodologies in higher education and how this can lead to student success.
Morris enjoys being around people of different backgrounds as he has a great appreciation for diversity and inclusion, he likes traveling, baking and just having a good time with family and close friends.
