Bronco NetID Services and Quotas

A Bronco NetID is your Western Michigan University username for all major systems, including GoWMU, Elearning, and W-Exchange. 

Student available services and quotas

Student Bronco NetID services expire approximately 12 months after no further enrollment.

It is the responsibility of the student to assure backups of their data have been made prior to the expiration of services.

Admitted student

Accounts are removed if the student doesn’t register for classes during the semester that they were admitted.

Alumni AVAILABLE SERVICES

*This alumni service will continue indefinitely as long as the alumnus continues to make the required annual password change. Notifications are sent prior to password expiration. If the password is not changed, additional 30-day notice is sent. At the end of that time, if no response has been made, the account will be deprovisioned and the mailbox and all messages will be removed from the system and not recoverable. Access to OneDrive, Groups, Teams, and Office Online will end 30 days after graduation. It is the responsibility of the alumnus to assure backups of their data have been made prior to the expiration of services.

Faculty and staff available services and quotas

Faculty/staff Bronco NetID services may expire immediately upon self, or University, termination of employment. It is the responsibility of the faculty or staff member to assure backups of their data have been made prior to the expiration of services.
