Connecting to a Time Server On Campus

Most secure network systems require that the date and time on the computer used to access them be accurate. While Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS computers both connect to time servers by default, those services are not accessible from Western Michigan University's network. Computers that do not leave campus often should be changed to use Western Michigan University's time server, The server is not available off-campus, so these changes are only recommended for computers that rarely leave campus. These changes are also not necessary for computers that are a part of the WADE active directory domain.
