Voice over Internet protocol phones utilize ethernet connections instead of phone lines. As new buildings are built on campus, or areas are remodeled, analog telephones are being replaced with VoIP phones. The University has a long-term goal of eventually replacing all office phones with VoIP phones which offer enhanced services compared to the old analog phones. Since VoIP phones use the existing ethernet infrastructure, the University will see a long term savings in no longer having to support a separate multi-million dollar phone system.
Below are VoIP phone models that are currently in use on campus. Please select the guide that applies to your VoIP phone.
