General summary

Updates and maintains course and curriculum information. Coordinates NCAA reporting and provides support to the curriculum review process.

Major duties

  • Assists with facilitation of the curriculum review process. Coordinates with departments across campus to resolve issues related to the curriculum process. Makes decisions regarding the implementation of changes of courses and programs in the student information system and the University’s degree audit software.
  • Enters and maintains course and program information in the student information software. Troubleshoots issues regarding prerequisites and program restrictions on courses. Identifies and resolves discrepancies between curriculum approved information and information on the student information system.
  • Compiles and submits eligibility reports for NCAA to the University athletic department. Verifies student athlete eligibility for club sports.
  • Executes the reverse transfer agreements established with University community college partners and determines student eligibility.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Some college coursework from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Two years' relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in data collection, statistical reporting and database management.
  • Familiarity with intercollegiate athletic conference regulations.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
