General summary

Recruits and maintains a client base at Miller Auditorium by implementing marketing and sales programs and providing customer service. Client base groups include group ticket sales, advertising and donors.

Major duties

  • Cultivates potential clients for group ticket sales, advertisers for show programs and corporate sponsors.
  • Maintains relationships with current clients, advertisers, sponsors and donors.
  • Shares responsibilities in house management.
  • Maintains patron records in enterprise applications and other computer applications.
  • Coordinates office duties. Performs other duties as assigned for the marketing and ticket office.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Post high school training or education.

Required experience

  • One year’s relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet software.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
