What is business analytics?
Business analytics addresses an increasing demand in organizations of all types to leverage data to drive business decisions. Business transactions, daily communications, information systems and personal devices generate tremendous amounts of data, and companies are devoting substantial resources toward gaining insight from those data. In addition to data generated internally, many companies are exploring the effects of external data, primarily available in social media, blogs, news or web search.
