Document Delivery

User Services can provide electronic delivery of articles and book chapters available in the University Libraries' collection to WMU faculty, staff, and students. Services available for Elearning and off-campus students and faculty can be found on our Services for Off-Campus, Elearning, and Extended University Programs page.

  • Journal articles
  • Book chapters

When will I receive the material?

Material will be provided within 1 to 2 business days, please allow additional processing time for items not available.

How do I place a request?

Requests are placed using your interlibrary loan account. You will be notified via e-mail when your material is available. To retrieve articles, sign in to your interlibrary loan account and under 'View' click on 'Electronically Received Articles'. Any items not available at the University Libraries will automatically be requested from another library through interlibrary loan.

Don't have an interlibrary loan account? Instructors and students sign in with your Bronco NetID and password. You'll automatically be asked to create a new interlibrary loan account with us.

How much does it cost?

It is FREE!  However, items ordered through interlibrary loan may involve a fee, please review our policy for further information.
