Need a space to work on a video or audio project? Don’t have access to the right equipment or software? Our Multimedia Editing Studio has the tools you need to do post-production work on your video and audio projects.
The Multimedia Editing Studio is open to all Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff during open hours.
If you have questions or want to learn more about the Studio, stop by and talk to the Libraries staff at the Virtual Reality Lab desk on the lower level of Waldo Library.
Multimedia Editing Studio Features
The studio is stocked with an iMac Pro-Education computer with an Intel 8-core Xeon W processor (3.2GHz), 64GB of RAM and a Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card. It also has an Alesis VI61 piano keyboard with 61 full-sized keys and a pedal, a set of Yamaha HS7 6.5" speakers and two microphones on boom stands.

How to access the studio
Reserve time in the studio. When you arrive for your session, check in at the Virtual Reality Lab desk on the lower level of Waldo Library for access to the Multimedia Editing Studio.
