Guest Users

To print a document, it must be formatted as a PDF, JPEG, or TIFF file and saved to a USB flash drive. To format a Word or Excel file as a PDF, choose File > Save As and change “Save as type" to PDF. PDF, JPEG or TIFF files can be printed from a USB drive at any of the public copy machines at the self-service copy rate.

For printing purposes, the computers attached to the microscanners are just like other public computers in the Libraries. WMU patrons print using their regular quota printing tokens; guests should save scans to a USB flash drive and print at one of the coin-activated copiers.

Microscanners are available at:

  • Waldo Library (Lower Level and Second Floor only)
  • Zhang Legacy Center, Archives and Regional History, 1650 Oakland Drive

You may scan documents to your email address at any of our print locations for free. Please see instructions in the print areas for details.
