Maybee Music and Dance Library

University Libraries has started a gradual process of reopening. Waldo Library’s first-floor lobby is now open for limited services to WMU users. All other areas within Waldo Library and all branch libraries remain closed at this time.

Maybee Music and Dance Library supports the programs within the College of Fine Arts at Western Michigan University. Located on the third floor of the Dalton Center, it is home to books on music and dance, music scores, audio recordings, videos, periodicals and reference materials. The Library has ways for you to listen to CDs, LP records, and audio cassette tapes. You can also view videocassettes and DVDs.

Our library staff is ready to assist you with our collections, spaces, technology or whatever you need. If you have a question, just ask us! Need help with a research project or assignment? Contact our subject librarian.

Most books, scores and recordings can be borrowed and checked out. Some items have restrictions. Through our library, you also have access to online resources like databases, journals, and subject guides.

The Music and Dance Library offers computing and printing services too. This includes 13 computer workstations and a black and white printer/scanner.
