The information for approved sponsored and special sessions of the International Congress on Medieval Studies is submitted to the Medieval Institute at Western Michigan University through the online submission system powered by Confex (deadline: October 1).
Online submission of session information
Organizers will have access to the Confex system in order to accept proposals for sessions of papers, roundtables, panel discussions, and poster sessions and to add the names, affiliations, and contact information for organizers, presiders, and respondents, as well as to submit details of performances, workshops, demonstrations, practicums, and screenings after the submission portal closes on Sept. 15. Session organizers are responsible for collecting names, affiliations, and contact information for participants in performances, workshops, demonstrations, practicums, and screenings and entering that information into the Confex system. Submissions of session details into our online system powered by Confex are due Oct. 1.

Paper proposals not accepted
Papers not accepted into sponsored and special sessions are considered for inclusion in general sessions, unless the author indicates that it should not be.
Reservations for business meetings and receptions
Learned societies, associations, institutions, publishers, and other vendors may hold business meetings or host receptions at the congress. Arrangements are made by submitting a meeting reservation (deadline: Oct. 1).
