How do I apply for SEMINAR 2021?

What materials do I need to submit with my application for SEMINAR 2021?

Please submit the recorded audition pieces (mov, mp, wav, mp4, or m4a) necessary for your area, or upload a video to YouTube (set to unlisted) and share the link in the application.

You can find the audition piece requirements at the bottom of the application page, here.  

A music teacher endorsement letter is not longer required to apply, but we do take them into consideration when included.

 

What are the dates for SEMINAR 2021?

Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23

 

What will students be doing during SEMINAR 2021?

Students will have an action-packed week of 1-on-1 lessons with faculty, participatory masterclasses, music theory and elective courses modeled on classes taught at Western Michigan University, and daily communal group experiences and performances with our Seminar counseling staff. Students will also have additional access to live streamed and recorded performances, lectures, masterclasses, and links to music faculty-generated content, as well as an interactive college information session with the WMU School of Music undergraduate advisor.
