When you are on this interactive timeline,

Clicking on a Term will take you to a study guide that defines that term (the term appears at the very top of the page).

Clicking on a Name (composer, theorist, title) takes you to a section of that same study guide for some brief information about the person or document (the information starts at the very top of the page).

Clicking on the Title of a Composition takes you to a detailed webpage with information on the composer and composition, (including translations of the text where applicable), and a link to a YouTube clip of a representative performance. It is highly suggested that you take the time to watch and hear at least some of each musical performance (and look at an excerpt of the musical score when it is provided), since it is essential for truly understanding and appreciating the styles and terms, but also because it will help you prepare for the listening identification and score identification sections of the exams.
