Western View expansion, community center opens

The Western View Community Center opened its doors earlier this month, joining the second Western View housing complex that opened in August. A welcome gathering was held Friday, Oct. 4.

Author to speak as part of Universitywide Common Read

Raymond Bonner, author of "Anatomy of Injustice: A Murder Case Gone Wrong," will be on campus Monday, Oct. 14. He will make a presentation and sign his book from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Bernhard Center's North Ballroom.

Award-winning choreographer to hold open rehearsal

Award-winning dancer-choreographer Gabrielle Lamb will stage an open rehearsal of the new piece she created for WMU dance students from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Dalton Center's Dance Studio B.
