GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan—Western Michigan University faculty and advisors for a number of regional and online undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates will discuss programs and answer questions from prospective students at an open house Tuesday, March 19.
The greater-Grand Rapids community is invited to the open house from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 2333 E. Beltline Ave. S.E.
Besides information about programs, professional development program managers and instructors as well as representatives from a variety of WMU student services and resources, including undergraduate and graduate admissions, career services and financial aid, will also be available during the event.
"We are excited to host an open house for the Grand Rapids community to share more about the WMU educational opportunities offered beyond Kalamazoo," says Dr. Ed Martini, interim associate provost of WMU Extended University Programs. "Whether you're looking to finish the bachelor's degree you started 20 years ago, take the next step in your career with a master's degree or graduate certificate, or begin a career in something completely different than what you're currently doing, our regional and online programs are designed with working adults in mind."
Registration is not required, but those who plan to attend are encouraged to get a head start by providing information about themselves and their educational goals ahead of time online.
