October 24, 2022: Meet TIP-Technology, Innovation and Partnerships

TIP brings together teams of researchers, practitioners and users to shape research directions, catalyze iterative co-design and co-creation, develop game-changing technologies and solutions to address the nation's societal and economic challenges, and grow the future workforce. TIP's impact is embodied in its dynamic programs, including TIP's Convergence Accelerator and new programs to be announced in the coming months. November 7, 2022: Open Access Publishing

Open access is a movement advocating for research to be unrestricted and freely available to all. In this workshop we will present an overview of open access as well as discuss options for openly sharing research, data, and educational resources. We’ll also discuss the specifics of open access publishing and what the advantages and disadvantages are of choosing to publish research as open access. We’ll help you to distinguishing between true open access and “predatory” publishers. Michele Behr, Scholarly Communications and Open Educational Resources Librarian, will lead this workshop.
