The Midwestern Behavior Analysis Job Fair is an annual event that is organized by graduate students for the Department of Psychology at Western Michigan University.
The event will take place on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo.
Schedule of Events
- Registration/Sign in: 9-10 a.m.
- Expo: 10-1 p.m.
- Interviews: 1-2 p.m. (optional)
- Colloquium by Dr. Liliana Mayo Ortega (1720 Chemistry, WMU Main Campus): 4 p.m.
Students and Job Seekers
Registration is now open through the day of the event. However, attendees who register after Nov. 25 will not received a printed name bag. This event is free and open to the public, though registration is required. Registration will include light snacks and beverages.
Most companies attending will primarily be looking to hire behavior technicians/RBTs or BCBAs. It is recommended that applicants dress in professional attire and bring copies of their resume to provide to employers. Career and Student Employment Services offers services in preparing resumes, mock interviews, practicing salary negotiations, and more.
A shuttle will be available to and from campus for job seekers. Pick up site is to be determined.

The event primarily serves students and job seekers in the fields of behavior analysis, psychology, education or other related fields. Most job seekers in attendance will be seeking jobs as either behavior technicians/RBTs or BCBAs. Employers who wish to interview candidates following the expo need to indicate their intent on the registration form.

Be sure to provide a return label for all shipped materials/equipment. Additionally, please plan means of transportation for outgoing shipment via FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc. The MBAJF will not be able to provide any return shipping arrangements.
Companies registered for the Job Fair may request an overnight stay from the Radisson Hotel at a discounted rate.
Dr. Liliana Mayo will be giving a colloquium presentation at the Western Michigan University main campus in 1720 Chemistry at 4 p.m. There will be a shuttle available from the Radisson to campus and all job seekers, students, and employers are welcome to attend. CEU's will be offered.
