Compliance Update: Conflict of Interest Disclosure and Training
Posted by Christine Stamper on November 14, 2025Federal regulations and University policy require WMU faculty, staff, and students who serve as Principal Investigators, Project Directors, or senior/key personnel on externally funded projects to submit disclosures. These steps protect research integrity, funding eligibility, and national security.
What’s Changing?
Starting the week of November 17, individuals with pending proposals, active awards, or those planning to submit proposals must:
- Complete the Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form found at this link
- Confirm completion of the CITI Conflict of Interest Training
Both are required for compliance with federal regulations and WMU policy.
- November 21st, 12-1pm
- December 2nd, 2-3pm
- December 12th 9:30-10:30am
- January 16th, 12-1pm
