Courtney Michalka

Courtney comes to the Office of Research and Innovation after working ten years within the Van Buren County Court system. Courtney held two positions during her time with Van Buren, The Office of Community Corrections Coordinator being the most recent. Courtney assisted with the successful implementation of numerous Specialty Court programs. 

Courtney has experience in case management, grant writing and reviewing, data management and reporting with submissions at the local, state, and federal level. She is a proud WMU alumni and remains involved in the athletic department as the Head Cheerleading Coach.
