Fall into the Streets

Fall into the Streets is a coordinated effort through the Office of Student Engagement and the First-Year Experience Office. All participating students will be from First Year Seminar sections. Each participating class will be assigned an agency, and on the day of the event, students will serve at that site. Fall into the Streets will be on September 25 and October 9.

Spring into the Streets

Spring Into the Streets is a program that gives Western students the opportunity to give back to the surrounding Kalamazoo community.

During their participation in this day of service, students will have a chance to work alongside community agencies on a variety of tasks ranging from neighborhood clean ups to painting to landscaping projects and more.

The hope is that students will have the opportunity to show Kalamazoo that they care about the community and that they are committed to making it a better place for everyone.

Spring into the Streets will be taking place on the afternoon of Friday, April 8, 2016.

If you need more information, or have any comments, questions, or concerns please contact the Leadership and Volunteer Services Graduate Assistant at (269) 387-2565 or email salp-intothestreets@wmich.edu.
