Fall 2019 Student Success Summit

Success at WMU and The Office of Diversity and Inclusion would like to invite faculty and staff to an afternoon of networking and collaboration, as we consider what it means to become a student ready institution. The Fall 2019 Student Success Summit will feature activities and discussions about our perceptions of the student experience here at WMU.

University faculty, staff, and administrators, as well as community organizers and business leaders, inspired by evidence-based models for improving quality in the student experience.

Keynote Speaker: 

Dr. Tia Brown McNair is nationally known for her research and work with universities in creating high impact, co-curricular, equitable educational practices in student success. She is currently the Vice President of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Student Success at Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). In addition, Dr. Brown-McNair is the lead author of the best-selling book, Becoming a Student-Ready College: A New Culture of Leadership for Student Success.
