Darrin Hobson is from Imlay City, Michigan, and is a graduate of Imlay City High School. He majored in integrated supply management, with a minor in general business, and graduated in December 2020. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in electronics technology from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Darrin is currently seeking a mid-level management position in distribution and fulfillment center operations. As a contemporary student with vast career experience, he primarily focused his time at WMU on coursework. Darrin joined his current employer, TRMI, as a general laborer in 1989 and later advanced into leadership roles in production engineering, maintenance and facilities. After making the decision to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, he completed pre-business courses at KVCC prior to enrolling in the integrated supply management program at WMU. Darrin’s B.B.A. journey presented numerous challenges and required constant attention to maintaining a healthy work-school-life balance while raising two teenagers.
