Dear Staff,

Thank you to those who have attended the first two Think Big Initiative town hall meetings for a job well done—we appreciate your participation and are impressed by your ideas! We are well on our way to envisioning big ideas for our collective future. To those who’ve not yet engaged: you haven’t missed your chance, but now is the time.

This is your personal invitation to join us in brainstorming ideas for the future of this University—we want to hear from you! Here’s how to join the conversation:

  • Attend an upcoming town hall in February. RSVP here.
    • Wednesday, Feb, 6, 9 to 11 a.m., 1035-1055 Fetzer Center
    • Thursday, Feb. 7, 9 to 11 a.m., 4010 College of Health and Human Services Building—Limited seating
    • Tuesday, Feb. 12, 3 to 5 p.m., Student Recreation Center indoor tennis courts
    • Wednesday, Feb. 13, 3 to 5 p.m., Trimpe Multicultural Center—Limited seating
    • Friday, Feb. 15, 9 to 11 a.m., Parkview Room (D-132) in Floyd Hall on the Parkview Campus—Limited seating
  • Visit the website—there you’ll learn about the process and timeline of the Think Big Initiative.
  • Review the creative concepts from previous town halls online, and recommend the ideas you believe will move the WMU experience to the next level.
  • Share your big idea! Submit your own big idea through the Think Big Initiative website.
  • Send us a message! All questions, comments and ideas are welcome.
  • Keep an eye out for more in-person engagement opportunities to come.

We are honored to serve you and this excellent university as we move forward in this process. The future of WMU is bright—keep the energy and ideas coming.
