Overhaul Thinking To Increase Caregiver Involvement in Education

Western Michigan University is the only place that leads in overhauling thinking about the roles of caregivers in the formal education of their pre K - 12th students.

Stakeholders benefit from increase in student achievement and a stronger more productive and forward thinking work force.

The university needs to lead the charge to change the way school boards & principals plus caregivers view their own roles, the role of classroom teachers and the role of students in raising expectations of caregivers towards better involvement in the formal education of their pre-k - 12th graders.
