Fall Welcome Commuter Check-in

FIRST-YEAR Commuter Students are required to participate in Fall Welcome.  Transfer commuter students may register to participate.

All registered Fall Welcome Commuter Students participating in Fall Welcome will check in on the following days:

Friday, August 23: FYE 2100, Lee Honors College, MLK Academy, Final Freshman Orientation, AFROTC, and ROTC students participating in Fall Welcome (First-Year and Transfer)

  • 5:15 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Sangren Flagpoles 

Saturday, August 24: All registered Fall Welcome Commuter Transfer Students not in the above-mentioned program

  • Check-in time TBD
  • Sangren Hall

Saturday, August 24: All First-Year Students not in the above-mentioned programs

  • 5:15 - 6 p.m.
  • Sangren Flagpoles

After students check-in for Fall Welcome, they will meet their Fall Welcome Ambassador and group members.  Students should plan on having dinner with their group that evening, and are invited to participate in the After Dark social activities.  Students will then reconnect with their Ambassador the next morning at a designated meeting space.

The most convenient place to park for commuter check-in is behind Sangren Hall, lot 41. However, you may park in any of the student lots on campus - C, F, K and W lots during Fall Welcome.  You may park at Sangren Hall only on Aug. 24 and 25, for check-in.  Employee lots and meters will be ticketed during this time. All lot parking will require a parking permit starting Monday, Sept. 9, 2019.
