Academic Advising at WMU

An academic advisor will provide a general overview of how advising works at Western Michigan University and also include information regarding GoWMU and the pre-audit and graduation application.

Academic Success at wmu

WMU is committed to providing services to help increase students' college skills and success levels.  This session will cover topics such as writing, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and the impact families can have in their students' academic experiences.

Bronco Express (Financial aid/billing)

A representative from Bronco Express will explain the financial aid process, discuss financing options, talk about the billing and payment process and answer your questions.

Career and Student Employment Services

Learn about full-time, part-time and internship opportunities on and off campus. This session will explain WMU's web-based employment service–BroncoJOBS –and the resources for career planning that are available throughout the academic year.

Diversity and Inclusion, office of

Learn about the many programs and services available to students through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

Family Engagement, Office of

A special session just for parents, family members and guests to learn more about how they can access resources and services at WMU to help support their student during the transition.  Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions about WMU and learn more about Family Weekend, the Family Connection Newsletter and more.

Plan it 4-ward

Learn about this tool that can be used to create a comprehensive, personalized academic plan and document experiences during your entire time at WMU.

Residence Life and WMU Dining Services

This session will provide you with information regarding both on and off-campus housing options, assistance in finding a roommate, and WMU Dining Services information for students living on and off-campus.

Student engagement and Community standards

Whether you live on camps or not, you are part of the Western Michigan University community.  This presentation will help you explore how you can become actively engaged within your community while learning about various standards that we value at WMU.
