Starting Sunday, June 30, 2019 the free online training access made available to faculty and staff through lynda.com will be going away. If you are currently using this version of lynda.com to access online training, you will need to complete any training and print all certificates before June 30, 2019.

Western Michigan University provides online computer training for faculty and staff through lynda.com, which has extensive training videos for the W-Exchange suite. Please follow the steps below to request a Lynda.com account and for direct links to W-Exchange training videos.
- Log in to GoWMU
- Under the My Self Service channel click Online Computer Training
- Complete the Lynda.com account request form.

Before proceeding to the Microsoft training site please be aware of which access option you require, Outlook on the Web, or Outlook for Windows and Mac. Read the feature comparison to compare the differences between those options.

- OneDrive for Business training (online storage and Office web apps)
Please note: Microsoft provides online training resources for Outlook, which is the application used for accessing email, calendar, contacts/address books and tasks. Outlook (email, calendar, contacts & tasks) may be accessed via the W-Exchange web apps (Outlook on the Web) which satisfies the needs of most users, or by using the advanced desktop client applications including Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Mac which offer additional features that some users may require.
