Anderson named director of Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (May 29) Dr. Mary Z. Anderson has been named the director of the Center for Counseling and Psychological Services in Western Michigan University's Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology.

WMU Sky Broncos place third in National Aviation Championship (May 3) Western Michigan University's Sky Broncos captured third place in the 1997 National Intercollegiate Flying Association Championship behind first-place Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University of Prescott, Ariz., and the second-place University of North Dakota.
