KALAMAZOO -- Kathy Mohney, coordinator of the Children's Place Learning Center, the WMU campus child care center located on Wilbur Street, has been honored with a State of Michigan special tribute noting her "outstanding service" with students and parents.
Mohney received a certificate signed by Gov. John Engler as part of the Michigan Child Care Challenge, an initiative sponsored by the House Republican Task Force on Child Care to "recognize Michigan employers that offer child care benefits to their employees."
