President Floyd to address ethics of university presidency

KALAMAZOO -- An examination of the role of ethics in the university presidency will be the focus of a presentation by Western Michigan University President Dr. Elson S. Floyd Monday, April 3.

Floyd will speak on "Ethics and the University Presidency" at 7 p.m. in the Kirsch Auditorium of the Fetzer Center. Sponsored by WMU's Center for the Study of Ethics in Society, his presentation is free and open to the public.

Floyd, who has been at the helm of the University since August 1998, will address the ethical balancing act required of the leader of a premier student-centered research university.
