Designed to celebrate the center's accomplishments during the previous year, the reception will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kalamazoo County Chamber of Commerce building, 346 W. "We are closing our second year here at the center, and we have a lot to celebrate," says Pat Guenther, director of the WBDC. "We're thankful for all the knowledgeable and inspiring presenters who have shared their time throughout the year, and we feel fortunate to have helped so many women create or improve their businesses." WMU's Haworth College of Business established the Women's Business Development Center in 1999 to offer support to female professionals and entrepreneurs through training, group and individual problem-solving consultation, current business information and networking opportunities.
