WMU graduate named foster care supervisorJuly 3, 2001 MUSKEGON, Mich. -- Catholic Social Services in Muskegon has appointed Amy S. Miller as foster care supervisor. Miller earned a Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University in June. A family service agency, Catholic Social Services provides services in a six-county area of West Michigan. In her new post, Miller will supervise staff members involved in foster care placements handled by the agency. In addition to a master's degree from WMU, Miller earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan-Flint and has 13 years experience in foster care and other child welfare services, primarily in the Grand Rapids and Flint areas. She is a Grand Rapids area resident and will be relocating to Muskegon soon. "Ms. Miller's training and experience will be an asset to the foster care program at Catholic Social Services," commented Robert Mills, executive director at Catholic Social Services.
