WMU Home > About WMU > WMU News Classes resume WednesdaySept. 11, 2001 KALAMAZOO--Classes at Western Michigan University resume Wednesday (Sept. 12) and all University offices will be open on their regular schedules following a suspension of normal University operations in respect for the victims and families of terrorist attacks in Washington, D.C., and New York City. WMU held a special service at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Kanley Chapel to offer members of the campus community an opportunity to reflect upon the events of the day, to offer prayers for the families of victims and to unite in support for each other.
