'Watch Parties' rescheduled for football versus MichiganSept. 19, 2001 KALAMAZOO -- Alumni and friends of Western Michigan University will have several opportunities across the country to gather on Saturday, Sept. 22, and cheer as the football Broncos take on the University of Michigan in "The Big House" at Ann Arbor. The game will be televised on ESPN+ and the WMU Alumni Association has arranged for "Watch Parties" in eight locations in six states. Nearly all of the Watch Parties set for the original Sept. 15 game date will go forward and an additional party was added in New York City. The game will also be televised in West Michigan by WXMI Fox 17, Grand Rapids. The contest begins at 12:10 p.m. EDT (9:10 a.m. PDT). Areas in which Watch Parties are scheduled include Atlanta; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Long Beach, Calif; Naples, Fla.; New York City; Phoenix; San Francisco; and Troy, Mich.
