Korth studies euro during faculty exchange in GermanySept. 20, 2001 KALAMAZOO -- Christopher M. Korth, WMU professor of finance and commercial law, spent six weeks in Germany this summer at the University of Passau. As WMU's candidate for the WMU-Passau faculty-exchange program, he worked with students and faculty; delivered three presentations on "An American View of the Euro;" and appeared in the local media. While overseas, he also visited the Frankfurt and Amsterdam stock exchanges to study the impact of the euro, the new European currency, as well as the mergers taking place among Europe's 37 stock exchanges.
