Visiting artist from Korea exhibits paintingsOct. 11, 2001 KALAMAZOO -- Yong Kac Cho, a painting professor from Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, Korea, will exhibit a selection of his paintings in the Rotunda Gallery, East Hall, at Western Michigan University, Oct. 15-19. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays. The public is invited to attend a reception with the artist on Friday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception will also be held in the Rotunda Gallery. Professor Cho is a visiting artist in Western Michigan University's Department of Art from August 2001 to February 2002. He is sponsored by the WMU Office of International Affairs. Cho's work has been exhibited in Los Angeles and in Japan, Hungary, Canada and France.
