Wildflower Festival features Judy Collins and friendsOct. 16, 2001 KALAMAZOO -- Few singers have the kind of staying power as folk icon, Judy Collins, who will be joined by guests Janis Ian, Richie Havens and Roger McGuinn for one spectacular folk performance at Miller Auditorium Friday, Oct. 26, beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets prices range from $42 to $20 and can be purchased through the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at 616 387-2300, toll-free 800 228-9858, or on the Web <www.millerauditorium.com>. She has released more than 30 albums, has had numerous Top Ten hits, Grammy nominations, and gold and platinum selling albums. In 1997 the long awaited Judy Collins anthology, "Forever: The Judy Collins Anthology," was finally unveiled. And the fall of 2000 kicked off the birth of Judy Collins' new record label, Wildflower Records. From the time she discovered folk music and was signed to Elektra in 1961 to her current albums, new songs, television specials, books, and work with UNICEF and landmines, Collins has always remained creative and vibrant as a true artist.
