Evening performances of "Titanic" begin at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11-12. Matinee performances begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13. Ticket range from $50 to $20 and may be purchased by calling the Miller Auditorium ticket office at 269 387-2300 or on the Web at <www.millerauditorium.com>. With a Tony Award attributed to each of their names, author Peter Stone and composer/lyricist Maury Yetson creatively docked "Titanic" into the world of Broadway musicals. "Titanic" begins as Thomas Andrews, the architect of the great ship, pores over the blueprints of his fated design. One by one, the dreams and aspirations of key characters are presented, emulating those of the 1912 passengers. It is a voyage no one will forget. Miller Auditorium's performances of "Titanic" are sponsored, in part, by B.L. Harroun, WKFR 103 FM and WWMT TV3. Media contact: Krista Iles, 269 387-2298, krista.iles@wmich.edu |
