Janis Siegel 'I Wish You Love' tour comes to WMUMarch 26, 2002 KALAMAZOO -- Vocal jazz icon Janis Siegel will return to the Western Michigan University campus March 30 as a stop on her "I Wish You Love" tour, celebrating the release of her latest CD by the same name. Siegel's performance at WMU is Saturday, March 30, at 8 p.m. in the Dalton Center Recital Hall. General admission tickets are $15 each. Students and senior citizens will be charged $5. After 30 years with The Manhattan Transfer, six solo albums, and nine Grammy awards, Siegel is as always, focused on the future. Her latest effort, I Wish You Love, features jazz interpretations of several "Brill Building" tunes as well as material made popular by Nancy Wilson, Dinah Washington, and Dakota Staton.
