World Domination Variety Show features Inga Muscio

March 20, 2004

KALAMAZOO--Author Inga Muscio will speak at the "World Domination Variety Show" in the Dalton Center Recital Hall at Western Michigan University at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 24.

Muscio will speak about how feminism, environmentalism and anti-oppression are all inter-connected. Her presentation is sponsored by the WMU Progressive Student Alliance and Swords Into Plowshares Peace Center.

"Muscio speaks for a better world with reconciliation and love," says Peace Center Coordinator Kristy Pagan, a senior majoring in health education. "She has dedicated her life to spreading the message of becoming self-loving individuals in a community of unity instead of hatred."

Best known for her book "Cunt: A Declaration of Independence," Muscio is currently working on her second book, "Autobiography of a Blue-Eyed Devil: My Life and Times In a Racist, Imperialist Culture."
