Proposals due for Bronco Days interest sessions

May 5, 2004

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Division of Student Affairs is signing up faculty, staff and students who would like to serve as an interest session presenter during Bronco Days 2004. The deadline to submit session proposals is Friday, May 14.

Bronco Days is a transition program offered to incoming first-year students that relies in part on faculty, staff and students providing interest sessions. These sessions help give new students a rich understanding of the various cultures, involvement opportunities and resources at the University.

This year's Bronco Days will take place Aug. 23 through 27, with interest sessions being held Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 25 and 26. Sessions related to your professional area of expertise, office or organization are encouraged. They last 50 minutes and may be presented up to three times during the two-day period.

To obtain a program proposal form, visit <www.broncodays.wmich.edu> and click on the link "Interest Session Presentation Applications." For more information, call the Bronco Days office at (269) 387-2773.
