WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Engineering students washing cars for cash Aug. 24, 2004 KALAMAZOO--The Institute of Industrial Engineers, a student organization at Western Michigan University, is holding a car wash Sunday, Aug. 29, to raise money for the group's regional conference. Engineering students and their friends are washing cars for cash from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pizza Hut on South Westnedge Avenue, Portage (Westnedge just south of Milham Road). All proceeds from the car wash will be put toward the costs of hosting the February 2005 regional conference at WMU's Parkview Campus.
