Sangren Help Desk open first week of semester

Aug. 26, 2004

KALAMAZOO--Perplexed about a classroom location? Can't seem to find your instructor? Or perhaps you need assistance navigating the Western Michigan University campus. The College of Education is ready to help you start off the fall 2004 semester on the right note.

Anyone from a new student or employee to a campus visitor may turn to the Help Desk on the second floor of Sangren Hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, through Thursday, Sept. 2, and 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Sept. 3.

Amy Burns with the College of Education dean's office says help desk staffers typically field questions related to last minute class changes and how to find various residence hall and classroom buildings.

Burns says the station is part of the college's continuing effort to provide easily accessible and centralized assistance to students and others. For more information, call the College of Education at (269) 387-2960.
