WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Calling all tuba and euphonium enthusiasts!Oct. 21, 2004 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's 29th annual TUBAfest, Saturday, Oct. 30, features internationally acclaimed master teacher Roger Rocco, who is currently serving as an adjunct professor in the WMU School of Music. A public recital begins at 5 p.m. Saturday in the Dalton Center Recital Hall and concludes with a performance by the mass tuba-euphonium ensemble. It is open to the public free of charge. Other activities during the day include performances of tuba-euphonium ensembles and solos, a masterclass for students, and a special session for music directors.
