WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Broncos close home season with Fan Appreciation DayNov. 3, 2004 KALAMAZOO--Discounts on admission prices, free tickets for WMU employees and thousands of dollars in prizes are all part of Fan Appreciation Day for Western Michigan University's final home football game of the 2004 season, Saturday, Nov. 13, at 3:30 p.m., versus Miami University. All fans can purchase one ticket at a reduced price of $10 and get a second ticket for only $3 more. WMU employees can get up to four free tickets to the game by going to the Athletic Ticket Office at Waldo Stadium prior to game day and showing a valid WMU ID. During the game, there will be a drawing for an all-expenses paid trip for two, to the University of Wisconsin to watch the Broncos take on the Badgers in football next fall. There will be four drawings during the contest for Bronco athletics season ticket packages, and two drawings for $1,000 each to the fans in the "lucky seats" that day at Waldo Stadium. Damon's offers a free item to the first 1,113 (Nov. 13) fans entering the stadium, and one lucky fan will receive an authentic Bronco football jersey. Fans also can take advantage of 20 percent off on all WMU Bookstore merchandise game day at Waldo Stadium bookstore locations.
