WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS USO performs with Women's Chorus in free concertJan. 26, 2005 KALAMAZOO--The Western Michigan University Symphony Orchestra presents the first of its free spring semester concerts at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, in Miller Auditorium. The concert includes Mozart's "Haffner" Symphony No. 35 and a performance of Gustav Holst's "The Planets," with the WMU Women's Chorus. Raymond Harvey, music director of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, will conduct the University Symphony Orchestra in place of regular conductor Bruce Uchimura, who is on sabbatical leave from his faculty position in the WMU School of Music.
