John Beacon, who joined the administrative staff this week as vice provost for enrollment management, will be the featured speaker. He will join President Judith I. Bailey and Provost Linda Delene in introducing the initiative. The event will include a segment featuring the voices of students, who tell what attracted them to the university. A major focus of the meeting will be the critical role members of the campus community play in the recruitment process as the university tries to maximize the number of top-quality students who choose WMU. Beacon and WMU's enrollment management consultants, Lipman Hearne, will present an overview of plans developed in consultation with the campuswide Enrollment Management Task Force.
