WMU HOME > ABOUT WMU > WMU NEWS Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gorme concert canceled Feb. 16, 2005 KALAMAZOO--Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme's spring concert schedule has been canceled, including their May 4 appearance at Miller Auditorium on the campus of Western Michigan University. Gorme reportedly has severe labyrinthitis--an inner-ear condition that causes vertigo. She has been advised not to travel for several months, which was the reason given for canceling the duo's spring concerts. "I am deeply disappointed that I won't be able to perform this spring," said Gorme in a statement released by Miller Auditorium. "Steve and I are devoted to our fans and look forward to returning to the concert stage very soon." Tickets for the Miller Auditorium performance by Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme may be exchanged for any remaining show in Miller's 2004-05 season.
